How do I see a list of items to be sold at auction?
View our online catalogue. This is online usually about 10 days before the live auction.
Its my first time bidding, how do I register to bid?
Registration is easy! It takes 3 minutes, enter your details, agree to the terms and you are ready to bid.
When can I start to place my bids?
Once the catalogue is live the bidding is open. You can either place your bids now or wait and join in the live online bidding in real time.
Where do the goods come from?
Antiques, Art and Collectables come from mansion houses located in Sydney, who are downsizing or moving house. These auctions can also include other local estates. The jewellery and Watches are sourced by liquidators or companies going bankrupt.
Are the products fully guaranteed?
Yes all our descriptions are 100% accurate. All products submitted for auction are examined by experienced and fully qualified gemologists.
How do I know if the diamonds are Natural or Lab grown?
All the diamond products we sourse are 100 % natural. We do not sell lab grown diamonds.
How can I bid?
There are Four ways to bid at an auction.
Live Online Bidding - you can participate in the live auction as though you were present in the auction room. It is live streamed so that you can bid in real time at the comfort of your home.
Online Bidding - As soon as the catalogue comes live you can place your bids. You can leave you maximum and then be notified if you have been outbid.
Telephone Bidding - With this type of bid you participate in the live auction as though you were present in the auction room. An experienced staff member who is sat at the auction will phone you a few minutes prior to your indicated lot going up for auction and will bid on your behalf. Once the bidding begins, we will keep you informed as the bids progress and ask you at each stage if you wish to continue bidding. This will carry on until you are successful, or tell us that you would like to stop bidding.
Absentee Bidding - Absentee Bidding is a term that is used when you are not able to attend an auction but still wish to bid at the auction. All you need to do is leave the maximum bid amount on the lot of interest and the auctioneer will bid on our behalf.
How do I pay if I win?
You will receieve a invoice. You can pay via the link on the invoice, bank transfer, MasterCard, Visa Amex (no surcharge) or cash. The amount you pay is calculated based on the hammer price plus the buyers premium of 25%. Telephone bidders buyers premium will be calculated at 20% as the live bidding platform is taking a commission on the lot.
How do I collect or ship my item?
You may pick up items in person at our auction rooms. All Jewellery & Watch pieces are Free Express Delivery Aus Wide Fully Insured. Please allow 5 working days from payment for the dispatch of your item. What happens if I don’t pay?
Failure to pay will result in legal consequences, and permanent banning from future auctions.
How do I find out about upcoming auctions?
You will receieve an email notification and upcoming auctions are also displayed on our website and social media.
